COOKING AT PANTOUFLE

Pantoufle is proud and excited to host in-store Tagine Cooking Demonstrations.

Held once a month at our store, these fun and popular events are designed to showcase the many uses of our versatile authentic cooking tagines, used by millions of Moroccans on street corners and restaurants alike to prepare delectable, tasty and healthy dishes.

We showcase a different cuisine each month.

It is a fun and informative event which has seen us so far host Moroccan, Indian, French and Spanish cuisines.

New to our PANTOUFLE PANTRY:

Kailis Infused Organic Olive Oils: Blood orange, Lemon and Lime flavours to complement your mediterranean cooking, or to have with our own home made Dukkah!

Mamouls - delicious home made Lebanese sweets - date paste covered with melt in the mouth biscuit encrusted with pistachio nuts!
Great with coffee, the perfect little something to take to a friend's house!

Raybeh Biscuits - equally delicious are these melt in the mouth pastries, made from the same base as Mamouls, but without the date paste; they are plain buttery consistency with an almond on the top. A plain, sweet and delectable mouthful to enjoy with coffee.

Dukkah - another home made specialty made of a mixture of ground hazelnuts, sesame seeds, coriander seeds and cumin - the most traditional of Middle Eastern appetisers, served alongside our olive oils and some fresh bread!

El Asador - a delightful and very tasty range of Argentinian sauces and marinades as well as seasonings.
Chef Maximiliano has created his own brand of freshly made authentic Argentinian seasonings, so all you have to do is chop up your fresh meat and vegetables, add a jar of Churro and presto you have a mouthwatering traditional dish you'll be proud of.
Come and check out this delicious range at PANTOUFLE.

NEW AT PANTOUFLE

A wonderful collection of handmade ceramics, called SANTOSA, by Judy Mercer.

Having learned her craft in Paris, Judy has experimented with many different techniques, styles and forms and has now developed a line of ceramics that reflect a lot of the influences in her life.
The teapot lids are molded very high to a point much influenced by her many visits to both Morocco and India.

The colours are vibrant, also an influence of travels and living in Sanlucar de Barrameda in Andalucia.

Most of the glazes are manufactured in France, as she has found it difficult to get the colours she was visualising in Spain.

Judy likes simple but strong colours and designs, particularly black and white stripes contrasted by apple green or red.
Mixing strong colours such as blood red and apple green as well as using metallic platinum on handles and bowl edgings help the simple forms stand on their own.

You will be overwhelmed by the vibrancy of the shapes and colours that hit you the moment you step into our store and cast your eyes on the SANTOSA collection.

It is available for only a short time, as Judy will be returning to the UK
